Introducing your new favourite mid-twenties bedroom pop duo!

Meet The Two Lips! Filipino-Latina best friend duo Jewlz and Andrea joined forces in 2023, blending dreamy bedroom pop with sincere musings on life in your mid-twenties.

You may be familiar with the pair’s 2024 single “still love you (todavía),” which beautifully weaves together English and Spanish melodies and has earned more than 30 million streams on Spotify.

Fueled by cute melodies and meaningful storytelling, it’s clearly just the beginning for these talented two, who are currently embarking on their very first tour.

Q&A with The Two Lips:

Q: "Who are your biggest musical influences, and how do they shape your sound?"

A: “I think we definitely have many, many different influences, from Lily Allen to The Marías, but it's mainly late 90s, early 2000s, but also a little bit of like 2010s, a little bit of now, so just everything from the past 30 years, but we Two Lip-ify it.”

Q: "What is your favourite part of working as a duo?"

“We’re like the yin and yang. It balances out perfectly well, and I feel like we know we both have our individual influences that we get to bring together. We like the same things, that's why we're best friends in the first place, so it's fun to be able to put that to use as a creative outlet. Also, it's like not all the pressure’s on you. If they're not looking at me, they're going to look at Jewlz. If they’re not looking at her, they're looking at me, like the weight is equally distributed. I think it's nice to be able to do this together cause we always talk about that, we’re like: ‘oh, we would never be able to do this alone.’”

Q: "The themes of womanhood and vulnerability are beautifully woven throughout your music. How important is it for you to reflect female experiences in your lyrics?"

“I'd say it is very important because we love relatable music, and I also think a lot of the industry right now is women who are in their early 20s, or teenagers, at least in the genre that we're in. I think there aren't a lot of people our age talking about things we go through. Things that you went through when you were 20 and 25 are so completely different…Our music is cutesy, but the things that we talk about are very 25-year-old.”
