Celebrating women in music today, inspiring women in music tomorrow.
Mediterranean Girls In Music (MGIM) is more than just a music blog. Officially launched by Italian music industry professional Arianna Bartolozzi Bellantuono just earlier this year, the platform covers a wide range of content in Italian, English and Spanish - from interviews and articles to news and reviews - with a special focus on Mediterranean women in the industry.
Arianna studied Business, Management and EU, US, and UK Copyright Law with specialization in the creative industries and music business. She completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the UK, and is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
MGIM was born out of Arianna's inspiration to bring more attention to the often-undiscussed Mediterranean music scene and women in music in general, as we continue to battle a male-dominated industry.

The creation of Mediterranean Girls In Music was supported by Dunya Fadili, an Italian-Moroccan philosophy student with a love for writing and music, plus experience working at a local radio station. The team has continued to grow into a diverse group of women with different skills and experience in the music industry united by their passion for music and culture.
MGIM's various articles and tips about entering the music industry make it an incredible resource, not just a music blog. The team has also launched a library of resources, reports and research focused on women in the music.
Landing on MGIM’s website or social media pages and seeing a group of women running a music platform, plus reading about women working in other areas of the business, is incredibly inspiring. What Arianna and her team have created shows great promise for a future where more women and girls fulfill their dreams of working in the music industry as artists, producers, managers, journalists, etc.
